As an innovator and leader in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Bassichis has welcomed patients from all over the United States and the world. For patients who reside out of town or prefer an online consultation, Dr. Bassichis offers virtual facial plastic surgery consultations through video conferencing, ensuring a safe and confidential experience.
Step 1: Request Virtual Consultation
To begin, please call our office or contact us online to request a virtual consultation with Dr. Bassichis. You can reach out via FaceTime, phone, email, or another platform. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your facial health concerns, hear Dr. Bassichis explain your surgical and/or non-surgical options, and speak with our Surgical Care Coordinator Nurse, Julie, about scheduling options. You are always invited to contact our dedicated Surgical Care Coordinator at (972) 774-1777 or julie@advancedfacialplastic.com with any questions.
Please provide us with information regarding your cosmetic goals and the procedures you are interested in. Our Surgical Care Coordinator will then arrange a virtual consultation so you can meet with Dr. Bassichis and his team at a time that is convenient for you.
Step 2: Send Photos
Before your virtual consultation, Dr. Bassichis requests that patients send clear, close-up photos of areas you wish to address. Using his expertise and our computer imaging software, Dr. Bassichis will evaluate your photos and provide personalized recommendations to address your concerns and help you achieve your desired outcome.
Instructions for Submitting Photos for Your Virtual Consultation:
- Views: Take front and side photos of your face.
- Quality Matters: Providing high-quality photos is essential for your successful virtual consultation.
- Ask for Help: Have a trusted friend or family member take the photos.
- Background: Stand in front of a plain background (e.g., a wall or door).
- Expression: Keep a straight face without smiling.
- Clarity: Ensure the photos are clear and not blurry.
- Coverage: Capture your entire face, from the top of your head to your shirt collar.

Please fill out the medical history and paperwork, including:
Step 4: Schedule your Virtual Consultation
After submitting your photos and paperwork, our Surgical Care Coordinator will schedule you for a virtual conference call or FaceTime with Dr. Bassichis. During this appointment, Dr. Bassichis will have assessed your photos to provide expert recommendations regarding your aesthetic case. We will discuss your concerns and interests to understand your desired outcomes, ensuring you feel confident in your chosen procedures or surgery for a well-informed decision.
At your consultation, our Surgical Care Coordinator will give you a financial quote for your procedure(s) and review important information to help you prepare for your surgery. We look forward to meeting you online and, eventually, in person!
Step 5: Scheduling your Surgical Date and Appointments
After your Virtual Consultation with Dr. Bassichis, our Surgical Care Coordinator will work with your availability to schedule a Surgical Date for your chosen surgical and/or non-surgical procedures. Patients should plan to arrive in Dallas a couple of days before their surgery, as an in-office pre-operative visit will be scheduled for the day prior to the surgery date. During this in-person consultation and evaluation, we will ensure that all details are prepared for your surgery, and you will have the opportunity to meet our surgical team. At this visit and at any point leading up to your procedure, patients are encouraged to ask any questions they may have.
Before your surgery, we will also schedule the necessary post-operative appointments to occur after your procedure. At ADVANCED, the health and safety of our patients are our top priorities. Therefore, we prefer that our patients remain in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for at least a week following their surgery so that we can ensure successful healing and continuity of care.
Our Surgical Care Coordinator will provide you with logistical details, including travel recommendations, post-operative care, accommodations, restaurants, and activities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to facilitate your recovery experience.
